The Definition of communication

..hmm well let me put this into simplicity first.... a friend tries to catch the attention of another by waving at him and the other does the same thing to confirm that he's seen him...now they are communicating right?... in the past this idea is what had come to my mind whenever I try to define it....but now I realized now that it was just a tiny fragment of a tip of a big freakin iceberg.., when I look into a dictionary it says "Any act by which one person gives to or receives from another person information about that person that is intentional or unententional" but I think it doesent only apply to people.. but to other things as well....like normal stuff like a tree or a bird ... When you cut down a tree to use it as firewood but not realizing that birds were sheltering in there.., now your totally communicationg to the tree and the bird , the poor tree which you cut down will never grow back again and the bird that'll go cold during the winter nights cause you chopped down its home.., whether your oblivious or not your communicating with them in a way because what you did affected them and communication is whether something affects or involves something that can manipulate its needs, perception or knowledge , and it may be intentional or unintentional and even dressing in your on style may well as be abstract communication, like when you put on a little make up, dark eyeliners, having your hair in one-sided fashion, putting on a crappy look and wearing your little sister's jeans wil forever doom you to be labeled by people to be a freakin' "EMO"
